More Than Food and Utility Assistance: A Letter That Reminded Us Why We Serve
Every day at Religious Community Services, we have the privilege of walking alongside neighbors facing difficult circumstances. While we often share statistics about meals served, food distributed, and families assisted, the true impact of our work is best understood through the people we serve.
Recently, our Director of Programs, Cynthia Miller, received a heartfelt letter from a community member. With her permission, we're sharing her words as a reminder that meeting an immediate need can mean so much more.

To the author of this beautiful letter: thank you for reminding us why we do what we do.
And to our staff, volunteers, donors, and community partners: thank you for making moments like these possible.
Because at RCS, we're not simply meeting today's needs. We're helping our neighbors find hope for tomorrow.
