About the event

About Stamp Out Hunger

Stamp Out Hunger is one of our largest annual food drives, bringing together community partners, volunteers, and local organizations to help fight food insecurity across Eastern North Carolina.

Each year, thousands of pounds of donated food are collected and sorted to support families in need. Last year alone, we received over 17,000 pounds of food, and with continued community support, we are excited to build on that impact.

This year, we are especially grateful to partner with the YMCA, where all donated items will be sorted and organized by volunteers before distribution. This partnership allows us to create an efficient, organized process to ensure food gets into the hands of families quickly and safely.

Volunteers play a vital role in this effort by helping to sort, organize, and pack donations for distribution. No prior experience is needed—just a willingness to serve and support your neighbors.
