JULIET ROGERS Executive Director

Juliet joined RCS in August of 2012. She has two great kids, Kelly and Julian, and a really cute husband, Richard. New Bern has been home for 13 years and a wonderful place to raise her kids.  She is lucky to have her Mom and Dad living  in New Bern as well.   She loves RCS because it loved her first, and she looks forward to lots of years serving the people of New Bern and surrounding counties.

ROSEANN BROWNELL Special Events Coordinator & Social Worker

Roseann joined RCS on January 1, 1998 as the Soup Kitchen Manager.  Over the years, her duties have evolved to include volunteer coordinator, food pantry, clothing closet and warehouse ministries. A native of  New Bern, Roseann has watched New Bern grow in many ways and loves what she does for God and for RCS. She and her husband have two sons and enjoy the many activities that go on in and around the New Bern area.

SUE KACHUR Finance

Susan began working with RCS as a soup kitchen volunteer, but has just recently joined the team as the bookkeeper in Fall of 2014. Susan and her husband moved to New Bern in 2007 with their 3 children and truly feel that it was a blessing from God that relocated them to the area. They have enjoyed being a part of the New Bern community. She has spent most of her recent time as a highly active volunteer in the school system and is looking forward to the time ahead of her serving with RCS.

SALLY KIDWELL Operations

Sally came to the New Bern area in September 2003 to be with her daughter Karrie, her son-in-law Scott and her 5 beautiful grandchildren. She became aware of RCS that same year while volunteering with her church and fell in love with the people and the community she now calls home. She cooked the first holiday meal for RCS on Christmas Day 2004 for the Shelter guests. Sally is originally from Wisconsin, but moved to Ohio in 1970 where she opened up a very successful restaurant and learned quickly of her love of cooking. Sally gives a lot of time and effort overseeing the Kitchen and Warehouse, but the most she gives is from her heart. RCS is very blessed to have Sally!
